William Mulholland - Consultant Lawyer

William has Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Economics, Master of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degrees and was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Victoria in February 2002. He is a former professional performer who appeared in the original Melbourne cast of “Cats” and has also worked as a political adviser and corporate recruitment consultant/head-hunter.
William commenced his legal career in a prestigious boutique commercial law firm where he acted for a number of commercial and high profile entertainment clients including Kylie Minogue and The Majestic Theatre Company. It was during this time that he developed his legal skills in general commercial work, intellectual property and commercial litigation. He then set out to build his own practice while consulting to a Sydney-based commercial firm specialising in financial services and corporate structuring. William has also acted for a wide range of publicly listed companies and SMEs in commercial and corporate matters.
William is currently a member of the Arts Law Referral Service run by the Arts Management Advisory Group. He is also a member of the Amcham Events Committee and a committee member for The International Special Events Society (ISES). He also works as a professional speaker and regularly presents on the areas of contracts, copyright and brand protection strategies for business.
