Areas of Practice
Prior to admission to practice, David worked as a policy advisor with the Victorian State Opposition, where he honed his written skilled in a fiercely adversarial environment. Since joining Baker Jones in 2003, David has handled a wide variety of commercial disputes in forums ranging from VCAT to the Federal Court of Australia and the Commercial List of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
David has attained broad experience in numerous client insolvency matters (both personal and corporate) and has also developed a keen interest in drafting contracts and resolving contractual disputes without resorting to litigation.
David’s background in the development of public policy and his pragmatic approach to problem solving make him a valuable member of the
Baker Jones professional team. His energy and dry wit are a constant inspiration to colleagues and clients alike.
