Areas of Practice
After admission, Chris joined a major Australian bank and assisted in-house Counsel, specialising in lender security realisation and litigation. He was subsequently recruited to the bank’s special Corporate and institutional recovery unit, where he in effect became the client and gained invaluable commercial experience.
In 1996, Chris joined a well-known boutique city legal practice and was made a partner in 2000. While building his career, Chris developed a very strong relationship with a number of “blue ribbon” national corporate clients and he now prides himself on the attention he has given to his clients, both large and small, and the strong relationships which have flowed from it over the years.
Chris accepted the invitation of Dean Jones to be part of Dean’s new business when it commenced in September 2003. Chris is now a key part of the progressive, vibrant team of young professionals which now operates at
Baker Jones.
Chris has been invited back to the Leo Cussen Institute as a regular part time instructor and continues to inspire colleagues and clients alike.
